Safety, Health and Environment Policy

It is the policy of Excelsyn to:

  • Continually improve health, safety and environmental performance through commitment to development of plant design and processes, selection of equipment, review of procedures and training of staff
  • Set, measure, audit and periodically review health, safety and environmental policies, related improvement objectives and associated management systems
  • Comply with all relevant legislation and any voluntary commitments made by the company
  • Prevent pollution, conserve resources, and reduce waste by the measurement and monitoring of consumption against established objectives and targets
  • Ensure employees receive appropriate training and are competent to undertake their responsibilities and duties, involve and consult with employees to gain commitment to the policy and its implementation
  • Involve statutory bodies and other interested parties in Health, Safety and Environmental matters and share experiences with other industry colleagues and seek to adopt best practices
  • Communicate this policy to all employees and make provision for it to be readily available to other stakeholders on request
  • Place the management of Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment as a prime responsibility of line management at all levels within the organisation
  • Provide adequate and appropriate resource to implement the policy and ensure its understanding, implementation and maintenance at all levels in the organisation
